ESPOT is for Fourier synthesis and analysis of the projected atomic electrostatic (difference) potential map from calculated and experimental electron diffraction patterns. The potential map can be used to correlated HR-STEM image and HREM structural image. The potential difference map can be used to improve the structural model.
